Nike Air Max 1 “Clot – Kiss of Death 2021”

The Clot x Nike Air Max 1 “Kiss of Death 2021” is a collaboration from Edison Chen’s streetwear label and Nike that revives a colorway that originally released in 2006. A polarizing design for any era in sneaker culture history, the fan-favorite “Kiss of Death 2021” is a near one-to-one remake of the original style that debuted in the mid-aughts. A beige suede construction forms the base of the upper and translucent paneling appears on the toe and forefoot. The “Kiss of Death 2021” utilizes a red leather heel with orange embossed detailing whereas the original design displayed orange suede with red accenting. A textured red leather Swoosh logo is stitched onto either side of the shoe and lime green “Nike Air” branding resides on the top of the beige suede tongue. A clear Air bubble is encased with the painted orange midsole. Underfoot, an icy blue translucent outsole completes the look. Release date: March 27, 2021.
